
ORIGIN
Coquito meaning "Little Coconut" in Spanish is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. The coconut-based alcoholic beverage is similar to eggnog, sometimes being called the Puerto Rican Eggnog.
What to expect -

It’s a creamy taste.

The rum is toned down with the cream of coconut flavors…some bite on the back of your tongue.

This is a dairy product…prepare if you’re lactose intolerant.

Ages in the refrigerator….gets better over time. Coquito get better the longer you let in cure.

How to enjoy Coquito -

Drink any time of the year!

Bring to room temperature.

Add a little nutmeg or cinnamon to top off each glass before serving.

Sipping…I enjoy my Coquito in a shot glass, or a little larger glass…

With a slice of cake or pie.
